Chris and Kim came to stay recently for a week to look after our 75 acre farm on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. They were tasked with looking after our 2 house cats and large fishtank. Outside they looked after our Maremma, flock of sheep and lambs, herd of cattle and our raised vegetable beds, seedlings and orchids. I have to say-I was so relieved and reassured during our time away. Both Chris and Kim kept me well informed with daily updates and photos of our beloved animals. They spoilt the cats with plenty of cuddles even though they were self sufficient in their well resourced camper van. Our Maremma has a restricted diet and Kim took plenty of notes and asked questions via text when needed (which I prefer folks do if they are not sure). They daily checked cattle, even though they were not required to do this and made sure everyone was present and correct! Chris and Kim are keen gardeners with an extensive career in horticulture so I knew my plants and seedlings would be in good hands. They were very considerate of our home and extremely neat and tidy in and outside around the house. I would thoroughly recommend them for future farmsitting opportunities and I hope they can come back again if/when we need someone we can trust.”
